Perched along the tranquil shores of a premium Sydney suburb, this renovated water-side family home beautifully integrates nature's charm with minimalist design. Celebrating imperfections with elegance, it merges the serene landscape with modern living.
Capturing the essence of this project required meticulous planning and an understanding of the homeowner's vision. Inspired by the luminous coastal homes of the Mediterranean, we sought a sunlit day with a clear, pure blue sky to showcase the artisanal strokes and textures lovingly crafted by the client on the walls and ceilings throughout the home.
The home's north-western orientation allowed us to synchronize with the ever-changing sky while understanding how light interplays with surfaces and the skilful composition of each shot helped to reveal the project's true character—a testament to the commissioning client's dedication and the homeowner's profound vision.
