The linear minimalist form and a harmonious blend of understated colours, this modular soft seating solution offers a versatile array of seating options from a catalogue of different backs, cushions, and armchairs, ensuring a tailored fit for any newly envisioned space. The result of a collaborative effort between Kathy Arnold and ownworld, this innovative solution addresses the supply and lead time challenges stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Set against a fitting backdrop, the striking graphical design and minimalist palette of the furniture is right at home in the converted warehouse showroom. However, being nestled within a narrow street-level space presents its challenges. The primary light source for the area is from a single generously sized window, yet as you venture deeper, the light diminishes. While in typical showroom mode, the space might rely on overhead lighting, this approach doesn't align with the desired aesthetic for the photos.

A recreation of natural soft light was required, balanced with the controlled ambient light filtering into the space. By studying the available light and understanding how it behaved against different colours, materials and textures, the result is a collection of photos that not only highlight the fabric's distinctive textures but also offer a faithful portrayal of the natural materials used.
